What do people say about Toni Was here

Please share your reviews with me, I would love to hear your thoughts!

The night I started reading “Tony Was Here” I couldn’t put it down! Without giving too much away, it’s gripping straight away transporting the reader into a raw and terrifying ordeal, that puts you inside the mind of the author, feeling her pain, anger and sorrow.
I hope this book and website brings attention to this issue of femicide that plagues our country.

Reading Toni Was here has made me aware of how vulnerable women are to abuse and how fatal things can become.

Although jarring from page 1, I found myself so invested in Toni’s story that I read the book in one sitting. Toni’s frightful experience of GBV touches on a reality that countless women face in SA and across the world. As a topic that is often shrouded in shame and silence, Toni’s story as a survivor is important and well worth the read
